We can’t think of a better way to celebrate your baby's first birthday than a smashing cake smash photoshoot at our studio in Bristol.

The cake smash photoshoot consists of 4 sessions in one:-

 

1) First we start of with a 10/15 minute ‘normal’ shoot where we get some non messy shots, (family shots can be included here if you like) this gets them used to the camera and their new surroundings.

 

2) Then, we pretend to ‘bake the cake’, we bring out a little chefs outfit and some cooking utensils.  This is usually baby’s favourite bit as they get to be noisy AND messy!

 

3) Then we bring out the cake and get smashing, the scene is decorated according to your requirements with balloons and bunting and the cake is placed on a cake stand.

 

We take a few photos of the cake before we get started then we cut out a big slice for you take home.  Any leftover bits are also scooped up for you to take home. We never like to waste cake!

 

4) Finally, the last 15 minute slot is a few photos in our little vintage bath, serves two purposes, firstly it's incredibly cute and we get some adorable shots and secondly it’s a good way to clean up.

 

Cake smash images make wonderful party invites, or thank you cards, but most of all, the session is a great treat for your little one.
